Der begehrteste Wein von Boekenhoutskloof! Die hoch spannende und dabei sinnliche Cuvée bietet ein sehr weit gefächertes Aromenspektrum. Allzu viele Flaschen gibt es nicht von diesem Wein. Denn Boekenhoutskloof gewinnt seinen »The Chocolate Block« von speziellen Parzellen unterschiedlicher Weinberge. Die Trauben liefert das heiße, trockene Malmesbury im Swartland nördlich von Kapstadt. Der Grenache kommt von den ältesten Reben dieser Sorte in Südafrika, die in Citrusdal auf sehr sandigen Böden am Fuße der Cederberg Mountains stehen.
